Parametric design automation means encoding an engineering routine once so that every new order is a set of inputs, not a week of rework.

    Products that are custom in dimensions but fixed in rules: tanks, vessels, frames, enclosures, ducting. If an engineer could explain the procedure on a whiteboard, it can be a parametric model.
